Chrome ore is a type of mine commonly used in industrial practices.
This ore, the main component of which is the chromite mineral (FeCr2O4), is the main source of chrome. Chrome, a bright, silvery gray metal, is valuable in many areas due to its high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and hardness. These properties make chrome a key element, especially in the metal industry, stainless steel production, protective coatings and pigments.
